Digital Fashion & “Phygital” Phasion?
PARIS FASHION WEEK — DIGITAL GOES PHYSICAL
I don’t often think highly of high fashion, to be honest. Being a historical costuming aficionado myself, there’s not much that surprises me. Have you seen the kind of silhouettes they created in the 1600s and 1700s? Modern fashion just doesn’t seem as interesting by comparison. Don’t get me wrong, I like fashion. But it’s not often I see runway looks and think, “Ohhh that’s so innovative and fresh!”
It’s a tongue-in-cheek take on physical fashion going digital. It’s just the opposite: digital fashion going physical.
Creative, timely, fresh.
ILOVEIT.
PHYSICAL GOES DIGITAL
I couldn’t help but imagine myself wearing the above to my next Zoom call… oh wait, does that defeat the purpose? Perhaps, then: the airport. Yes, the airport. I can see the looks on their faces now.
Not that most high fashion collections are prêt-à-porter (ready-to-wear), but maybe someone will re-create this as a Snap Filter that I can try on a la DressX.
Okay this is getting way too meta.
